Everybody must have gone to their favorite BBQ forum and are intensely working on startup procedures and hot dog brand ratings. Mike

Titleist,
I agree with that observation. It takes a couple weeks for the body to adjust to the 'sleep' cycle. Plus, this "Winter from Hell", has just about been enough for everyone. 'Snow, snow, and more snow' It ain't fun no more!!!
12 more days 'til Spring!!!!
Cheers

Me TOO !! I just can't get into all that math, when you just have to buy coal regardless, and keep some extra on hand for extreme cold winters like this one.coaledsweat wrote:LMAO!tsb wrote:Larry started to calculate the BTU's of his coal gun and everybody

The weather has been above 40* for almost a week, and supposed to be in the 50*-60* range this weekend. I think the weather has broken into the spring weather patterns.. I hope.
Now I need to get a TT or two of coal scheduled, and wait for the ground to dry, or for another deep-freeze to solidify the ground around the shop and coal storage building. Last year and this year put a serious dent in my 4-5 year supply of coal. I think I used at least 3 [normal] year's worth of coal in 2 seasons..
I like to DO IT and forget it, when it comes to stockpiling supplies.. expensive up front, but cheaper in the long run usually.

We were at 17° this morning. We had a taste of spring a few days back at 55°, but it was short lived. At least that was enough to knock the 600 lbs. of ice off the edges of my roof. CRASH! BANG! Cats running everywhere inside ..... And my telephone wire survived yet another winter.
I had a mini computer meltdown AGAIN this morning. 4 hours later I'm back up and running. Am I the only one with a very strong urge to beat the ever-living *censored* out of Bill Gates right now???
