Just curious, after the heating season ends, I know this site doesn't close for the summer. Not sure who the "lone moderator" is, but how 'bout the members. Who will be here to keep Rob entertained? I'm sure I won't be as active, but when I start ripping into my G111, I'll want to be pestering people, for their expertise. I hope it won't be tumbleweed city. Maybe we can make a pact to check in once or twice a week.

Even though my knowledge compared to most everyone else around here is slim to none, I'll still be lurking around. As I will be pestering folks about advice on my DHW coils, installing my new stove, and what not.

Don't cut yourself short, Wheelo, everyone has opinions that matter. Guess we'll both be up-grading this summer.Wheelo wrote:Even though my knowledge compared to most everyone else around here is slim to none, I'll still be lurking around. I will be here over the Summer. Can't seem to stay away nor do I want to either! Last Summer seemed to be much more active than the Summer of 2013. While I have no numbers to back that statement up it sure seemed there was more action here than the year prior. Perhaps "The Mayor" could share some numbers with us.?? (hint hint?)

I'll be here. I might get lucky and find a baseburner over the summer and need some help. Also King Coal has another project in the works that's interesting.

I will be here though so for have visited about everything you can do wrong and a couple there is more than one way to do it wrong LOL. I have so far avoided a puff back and would like to skip that one.
My next test is the coal stove limbo with 'how low can you go'. We are due for a string of days that might reach 50 during the day then 30 at night changing to several that will be 35 daytime and mid to low 20's at night so not time to shut down quite yet. Best to dat is 325 stove top and 95 on stack surface with 200 inside stack with the probe but draft slipping below .02. With slightly less than 12 feet of stack not much to work with.

I'll be here for sure.
Heck, if I ever get my Stewart parts back I've got to post pics somewhere!

I'll be here. I have been truly blessed recently in finding some great finds on Locke stoves in different sizes and ages. I'll be doing some parts rebuilding and gasketing to get them ready for folks to use and posting lots of photo's.
