If any of you savvy coal burners ever decide you want to retire to a first floor apartment.... I think I'd jump at the chance. I'd really like to find someone who is a handy man with these EFM's ....
In fact, all jokes aside .. it sure seems to make sense. I travel a lot and one of the biggest issues is having someone around who knows about coal ... and can keep the lawn mowed and sidewalks clean at the same time.
Nice building .. good people .. heat and water paid ... and Trevorton's not a bad town.
I have guys who work for me ... but if I could find just one coal savvy guy ....

I got my efm for free from a apartment house who pushed it to the side and I guess it was how does a landlord take care of it if he is away. I remember when I moved it the fines from the pot came out for weeks every time I moved it more fine came out……… no one shook it down. Oil was my efm replacement I was the lucky one.

Yes, life in an apartment... Luckily for me, my wife handles the day to day operations of our EFM while I'm away. If a problem should arise she knows how to switch it to oil until I can get to it. The grass cutting is being taken care of by a truck driver who used to deliver to a site I was at near home. Through the course of conversation I learned he mowed on the side, and he uses commercial equipment. He no longer needs the truck driving job, his mowing business has grown to his full time gig.

Switch it to Oil .... hmmmmm. Now that is something I might want to consider. That way I could just burn oil when I am away. Sure would like to see your set up.rubicondave33 wrote:Yes, life in an apartment... Luckily for me, my wife handles the day to day operations of our EFM while I'm away.
