USA made black iron fittings are the professional recommended fittings. China made are poorly made, fittings. I know because I tried to save some bucks too. Ended up with crooked threading and leaky threads on a very high percentage of them...the send their crappy seconds to us cheap skates.

I learned my lesson, guess you'll have to too. ;)

What is on their dime is getting called back to fix a leak. Chinese made iron fittings are terrible. Even if they don't leak it is not predictable how the threads will make up. Hopefully you are able to make everything seal up and do the job.

We will see, idk maybe the ones I ordered are American made, I've read so much negative about the box stores Home Depot and lowes being such poor quality so I figure I'd give it a shot ordering online seeings I ordered most of everything there.

HB, so far this is a very well thought out installation. The beer fridge is within reach of the boiler.

Oh, nice manifolds to.

That is a very good idea putting temp gauges in the supply and return of the zones. With those you can tell what is going on at a glance rather than guessing.

I see th NY has it's winter jacket back on. Did you upgrade the insulation, or just leave what was originaly there?
