What a friggin joke! This damn EPA needs to be DEFUNDED and ABOLISHED! They have gone way too far with their agenda. Should've seen the writing on the wall when they went after R12 refrigerant back around '93 ...
Not that I'll ever have an outdoor wood boiler anytime soon, but this is BULLSHIT with a capital B!!
Well I guess it's time for business owners to become criminals and help their fellow Americans obtain outdoor heating units. Screw the EPA!

My takeaway on that video is that all wood burning devices are gonna be regulated , indoor and outdoor! Coal will be next you watch! Let them start putting people in jail for trying to keep their families warm, Ruby Ridge will be a long gone story.......

I wonder if an EPA edict is driving DS Machine to put reburn tubes into its circulator line?

Anyone care to venture a guess, For every one residential coal burner there are how many residential wood burners?

You obiviously missed what was told in the video.oilman wrote:They are not banning anything...........they all have to be Emission certified, that's all. This has been law in New York for 3 years.
Mfg'rs are NOT building any more of those units you are referring to...period.
Newly built units after cutoff date will be redesigned and sold as commercial units only and be much more costly due to build design changes to meet the new emmission compliance.

Yep - when manufacturers are not allowed to make a product, where I come from, that's considered a BANNED product.
Wishing a sinkhole would envelope D.C. .....

Yepper.....when I am told I can't do something by the government, that tells me that I am BANNED from doing it. When the EPA (government) tells a manufacturer you can no longer make a product for homeowners and only for commercial locations, that means the product is BANNED for homeowners.
Don't even try the rational that it isn't banned because commercial can get it.

- Coal Size/Type: 404-nut, 520 rice ,anthracite for both
This is why coal burners & wood burners should stand together, there is strength in numbers, instead we try to make the wood burners our enemy & they try to make us their enemy,& the EPA slips in unnoticed & BAM,next ??

It's simple, the gov't wants full control! They want everyone on something meter'd, electric or natural gas, so that they can control how warm our houses are by simply cutting the home owner back!
