Im pretty sure this advice is coming too late , but Im thinkin the best bet would be to take it to Smitty or Windy Dave and have a beer or two
I heard rumors they only took payment from forum members in bags of coal and I don't want to part with mine!!waldo lemieux wrote:Im pretty sure this advice is coming too late , but Im thinkin the best bet would be to take it to Smitty or Windy Dave and have a beer or two
Got the shaft replaced and back together, the permatex set up over night and I was able to successfully get back to mowing today. It ran very smooth so apparently my preventive maintenance on the carb did no harm! No seepage at all around the new 'gasket' after about an hour of run time.

Good job Titleist!
A $10.00 part, 2 hours labor, and a $300 chiropractor bill!!!!
Now that couple of bags of coal for Smitty/Windy doesn't sound bad. (LOL)
Good to hear it was an easy fix.
Cheers

Picked up a free (fairly new) TORO on the side of the road, the recoil starter was missing. Chucked a 3/4" socket in the 1/2" drill and now the lawn is mowed. It has an electric starter too, but no charger for the battery and the key switch is broken. If the drill quits, I may fix that too.

MSDS is actually OK .... nothing hazardous in it ... you must list all hazardous materials but non-haz materials, its optional.coaledsweat wrote:That MSDS isn't giving up much!

The wifey probably came out when you were sleeping and did a complete re-build. That's nice.titleist1 wrote:I heard rumors they only took payment from forum members in bags of coal and I don't want to part with mine!!waldo lemieux wrote:Im pretty sure this advice is coming too late , but Im thinkin the best bet would be to take it to Smitty or Windy Dave and have a beer or two
