And today, the day before the longestday I have to fire the stove again, like yesterday and the day before, and the day therefore.
Because it is cold outside and chill in the house, this is not what we used to, it should be summer.
Two weeks a go whe had one summerday with 30 degrees centigrade, and the day after it was only 16.

I wish I had 23 centigrade.
For the next week the forecast say 15 to 19 degrees.

For those "not-knowing", this equates to a comfortable 73* (F). no supplemental heat needed. :)

Rain started in again and it's turned cold and damp. It's down to 52 outside and going colder tonight. Can't believe we're only four days away from July.

And weather underground shows that we're going to be having low temps and rain at least until Thursday, so....... I started the range back up again.

The vegetable garden is probably going to die of root-rot. If this is glo-bull warming,...... I'm ordering an extra ton of coal for winter. !

Cold. Damp......I >ALMOST< made a wood fire in the old gal but threw on some cool weather clothing instead.
If tomorrow evening is cold and damp like this, fire I shall have. :x

I wouldn't be too upset Paul. The south and west are dying from the heat, and lack of water. Our 50s aren't as cold as their high temps are to them. (But if lows in the 40s at nite come around, a few pounds of black gold might make life a tad more comfortable).

54 this morning and it's June 28th. I considered lighting a wood fire until I realized that all my wood I had cut was outside not under cover and it's raining buckets. I have 5 small pieces of wood inside that will burn about 15 minutes.

Wait.....I do have a bucket of coal left. Pick up a bag of lump charcoal and I am in business. I can't believe I am actually contemplating firing up on June 28th!!!!

Got a fire in the wood stove just go take the dampness out. With all the rain we've been having my ankles and knees are really bothering me. 58 here down to low 50's tonight. Partly sunny tomorrow, then rain rest of the week. That heat sure feels good :D ;)
