As Fred said it comes with a "plug in" dial a temp. I found that you really cant throttle the fan down much with those.Even on low it was like a jet engine! I bought a solid state speed controller from Grainger. Works much better. Can turn down much lower and don't need tv volume on 100! Lol
could I have more info on that controller
Thanks

Got my 50-93 in February and never looked back at the woodpile mainly cause it was gone! Built a 7 ton bunker in the basement a couple weeks ago and currently saving up $ to fill it. I also bought a good condition used DS Machine hopper feed for the basement. That stove alone can carry the whole house heat until the true cold comes along. As you said earlier I also have an open basement stairwell and the heat flow is good though I need to insulate my basement walls which will be a good winter project. You will be happy with your new Hitzer

well I guess I got a litttle to excited. Last week Lehmans has 25% off, so I ordered the 50-93 and kept checking my credit card balance online and was going to pay it as soon as it posted. Then today noticed there wasnt a hold on the account anymore. I then received a call saying I couldn't use that code because stoves are appliances. So now im looking for a good deal for one. Im glad I didnt buy the 3 ton I have in my shopping cart from pellets direct.

Give Preston Trading Post a call or drive over. They carry the 50-93 & might have an off season deal.
