So my friend finally picked up a Chubby stove posted by member Alpineboard/ Rob. He will be signing on soon to take advantage of the membership knowledge . I hope you guys will do him right as it took a few years to convince him to try coal. I do not know the first thing about hand fed equipment. Ill get him hooked up with a Dwyer and the basics and Im counting on you guys for the rest. Thanx in advance,

waldo

Way to go....one convert for you!!!

Basics of a Hand Fired Coal Stove

This thread might answer some of the basics to get started then a search for 'chubby' will get him more specific info for his stove and how to dial it in.

OD is the man!

Maybe he should change his screen name to "Chubby boy" or " Chubster" :D

Welcome aboard to your friend Waldo.

There is also a video on Youtube that Larry made on how to run the Chubby. I think you can also see that video on the Chubby web page.
