Those "Red Chinese" commies you hate make just about everything you touch on a daily basis. (except of course your coalstove & coal ) Close your eyes, feel your way into your den/living room, pick up the first thing your hand touches (lamp, knick-knack, anything) & turn it over.....Made In China will be on the bottom. The planet is getting smaller every day & we need them just as much as they need us as a market for their goods. It's 2008 not 1958.

No, we don't NEED them at all, the so called 'world economy' needs the cheap labor from china to fuel the demise of the middle class in america... that is what is happening.

Devil, you must be retired, with nothing to do but point fingers at other people.. sad state of mind and waste of time and energy..

Katrina was a true disaster, but it was forcast and forseen... the Governor and Mayor hoped to bury their heads and hope it would blow over or turn away..

When it was too late, then their stupidity kicked into high gear, and they stubbornly refused to sign the papers allowing the National guard and Fema to pre-position for disaster relief.. Since they couldn't pre-position, the relief forces were kept out of the disaster area by the very loss of infrastructure that they were there to help repair...

Dallas, what are you going to do when Bush is no longer the President, start kicking your dog?? Jeez, get a life.

C'mon Devil, wake up! It is, in fact, 2008. The Chinese have cleverly infiltrated the U.S. market with their cheaply made products. We really don't need them at all-if U.S. manufacturers turned out goods for the same prices as their Chinese counterparts, that is.
China is a communist country and their government should not be trusted. The flooding of our market with their goods and the resulting trade imbalance is a subtle way to undermine a capitalist economy.
It's just that the term "Red China" has fallen out of use over time.

I wonder how many people on the street know that China is a communist country?

Damn good food, though!

Let me make cleare I dont hate the RED Commies, I dislike the threat they pose to our country. This global economey that we hear of on the news...constancy is a product of the last four administrations endorsed by the congress. I hold the congress more for the fall of this country than any other factor. The global economey exists because of ourcongress.. Rep. & Dem. they care less about the working man, just like you.

And who was living at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, when he pushed for and signed the NAFTA disaster, and who had his hand out for kickbacks for the China deals??? Good 'ol BJ Bill... I'll be suffering financially for NAFTA till the day I die..

Bill presided over the pushing through of NAFTA, but as I remember, there was wide bipartisan support among the "elites" democrat and republican. It must be good for the very rich but sure not good for the average American. While we squabble over liberal and conservative, they are really very much the same at the top, they get richer and they don't care about us at all. Devil and Stockingfull only see republican boogey men but the clintons, who have never held a real job in their lives are multi, multi millionaires and that money came from china and the middle east. (Ok, Hillary worked at the Rose law firm briefly, long enough to get involved in crooked land developement)
