Hey, Thanks A Lot Malloy!

Hmmm. I dont recall hearing any complaints when Roland awarded millions in "no bid contracts" to his "buddies"! Which made him the "first" governor in CT history to resign, and then went to prison for it!!
Ya think maybe that was a part of why their economy is in trouble?? Lets see, 16 years of Republican rule/crooked politics had nothing to do with it, but Malloy comes in and in six years tanks the economy! Give me a break and face reality!!

I am trying to do that.
Do you think raising taxes will keep jobs in CT?
The checks for both my electricity and insurance now get mailed to Dallas Texas. Supposedly CT. companies.

Unfortunately short term that is the only answer. Yes, people and jobs will leave, just like I did. But when you dig yourself into a deep hole, there are few ways to get out, and blaming the one who inherited the mess is not the answer.

I laid the blame where its due. The fact that the GOP in this Damnyankee state is about as useless as tits on a boar is no news to me. Ought to hang the lot and start over.

I could bear the tax rises if they would at least make an effort to cut spending, but that would leave all the people to whom Danielle owes his job hacked off...

Correction- Malloy in for 4 years, not 6. Even less time for him to ruin the CT economy. I would look to the previous 16 years for the answer.

So by your logic, MA should be the shining beacon of political & economic might! BWAHAHAA!

We've been run into the ground by crooked democrats for over 50 years. They tax us into oblivion, and too much is never enough - they just keep demanding MORE! You should see my road - I have to go out there with a friggin shovel after every rainstorm. Hasn't been paved in 60 years! God forbid they actually do something USEFUL with our tax dollars.

I'm on my second front end job on a 8 year old truck, with only 76k Mass miles on the clock. Yep - yaay democrats! :no1:

Why, for multiple posts now do you persist in thinking I want more of the same? Are you obtuse? What was needed was a reduction in state spending, that's not going to happen with Dummycrats or RINO's. That would require a spine and testicular fortitude. As for my plan... It's just that simple. When you personally are short on money, you spend less. Keynes was wrong, you can't deficit spend your way into prosperity. Quite frankly, arguing with you isn't important enough to sit down with the state's budgets for the past few years and tell you where I would have dropped the axe. Suffice it to say, I wouldn't be making any friends in any department. IF there had been real cuts, I would be able to tolerate a hike in taxes a little better.

I despise the mincing little turd not for his taxes, but for his opportunistic gun grabbing.

Fair enough. You wont argue your point and I wont argue mine. Its hard to have a "battle of the minds" when "you" are "unarmed". Both mentally (and thanks to Malloy) physically!

Really, what happens in CT is moot for you friend. You left. It's very easy to stand ashore and be smug as the ship sinks rather than be at the pumps trying to keep her afloat till you make the pier. As for my arms, that's none of your concern.
