I drove by the old UAE coal yard yesterday in Mt. Carmel Pa. and they had a BIG sign up saying Summer Sale Special Prices for June and July. I will call today to see if I can find out what the prices are. They were $170 a ton bulk all last winter. If they dropped that price that is a SALE.

In the Shamokin news item they are advertising $160 a ton with coupon cut from the add, their coal works well in my alaska's and I stock pile in summer so will take advantage of the 10 buck savings.

They said they will sell the coal to anyone with or without the coupon. They will sell any quantity any size to anyone at the same price.

Sounds good but really not a "fire sale" as they say...

I find the rice burns good and hot but you will get a lot of ash. If you compare it to blaschac I say it burns hotter/better with about the same amount of ash so for the price very good

Thanks for getting back to me Sir. I used to love good old UAE and going back to the breaker brings back some good memories. For the price it does sound like a good deal. I am going to try Summit this year I think but if for some reason I can't buy from them until months from now, that just won't work. Thanks again, Glenn
