Just ordered my second ton of rice in Brunswick NY. Paid in full and had a 10% off coupon, so $268.00 per ton.

I went in for a bolt, and while I was not looking for it, there it was, a ton of Nut. I think that because it is on the floor, you can buy a bag, for 5.99

Where did you get a 10% off coupon?

I get 10% off coupons in the mail periodically. Maybe 3 times a year, and always around Thanksgiving. The come from a marketing group that the stores don't have access to replicate.

Has anyone in NY been able to pick up their coal? I've called a few times and still none available.

Same here in New Hampshire. Nothing yet, but yet they want you to pick it up by October 1st! My TSC got one ton of nut in. I'm going to pick up tomorrow. Still owe me three more.

Castleton NY has some, my store manager in Brunswick NY says it will be soon. Just got my dump trailer to lift at 50 degrees with 9 tons of force, I am ready.

Today I bought coal for the first time in my life. One ton pallet of Kimmel's at the TSC in Fremont, Ne., put it on layaway until I can get there with my pickup. I couldn't load it on my old '74 shovelhead. They only had one pallet of nut so I thought I'd better take it while it was still a complete pallet. Now I have to finish making my chimney and we'll get to see the Wehrle do its thing, I hope.

Well, I'd ordered and paid for 3 tons nut coal at the Grove City Pa store. Still have not heard from them. I don't have any doubt it will be coming in; just don't want to have to rush around picking it up when it does come in.

Yeah, as I said, im waiting on the other 3.
They originally said had to pick all up by Oct 1st.
Said today because they are late, they will waive the Oct 1st pick up date.
Said they are expecting soon.

Whoopsie Dooo, So I go in to pay a third payment on a ton of rice layaway, and I ask, "So do you have any rice coal in yet?", and the very competent gal looked it up, and said, "No, we do not even have any on order yet" Well, I placed my order with the store manager on July 27, 2015. Why has it not been ordered yet????? And if I did not ask, would I still be waiting and paying for something that has not been ordered and will never show up???? WOW!!! But, the very competent gal there, somewhat new I think, had an on going list, that she was creating on her own, to actively go after and actually solve the problems as she sees them. I think I may want to hire her at my company.

So I call the TS that is 30 miles down the highway and get the manager answering, I explain the situation to him and he seems to understand, other than the pre buy discount in which he said he did not know anything of........? He said he presently has a ton of rice here as of yesterday. He also stated that "meetings are going on right now about distribution". He advised me to cancel my lawaway and credit my card at the store near me and come on down. I did just that, and he did honor the $25 discount w/o any dickering. I just showed him the cancelled order slip. It was a show to watch the 3 man circus trying to figure out how to do it at the register as the line grew. I said that doing this is easier than digging out of the ground and thanked them for there services and for being there.
Why I jumped boats so quickly is, if they are having meetings now, things are not ........ fill in the blank.
I will stop with out making any accusations, but I have a # of questions. I am in a place now due to some luck and hard work, that I am ok. But If I were counting on this coal order as my main source of heat, well things would be different, and I would be moving it up a notch or two. To say the least, I am highly suspicious of what is going on. On a good note, My local TS is very close and I would love to deal with them. But I do not think that I will get an answer of why this has happened , or one that makes sense any way. Maybe there is a clear explanation for this. To be cont....

I loaded the bags into my burn room, this stuff must have been washed and bagged a couple of days ago, Niagara Falls, I could have sold tickets. :D
