This is my winter setup. 48" two stage blower on the tractor. This machine is unstoppable, it's nice to blow the snow to where you want.

Hand Fed Coal Stove: Crane 404 with variable blower
Coal Size/Type: 404-nut, 520 rice ,anthracite for both

That is a good rig for hard surfaces,we have blacktop & stones which makes a blade a better choice. The key with your rig is it is mounted on a garden tractor,not a lawn tractor. We do have some customers with blowers mounted on lawn tractors,with extreme care that set up can work for a few yrs,but usually the tranny or front axle/steering will give out.
