Glad to meet you too Dennis, hope to see you again next year. I think next year it's back to the beer party.pintoplumber wrote:Nice meeting you guys. Made it home OK, only needed the headlights the last ten miles. Ammeter was slightly on the minus side. Dennis
I told you that was for the ride home, un(fortunately) I forgot the glass and the ice. I'll enjoy every sip, the only thing better than booze is free booze.Keepaeyeonit wrote:... and Richard's early Christmas present .
Geez, there are like....21 pavilions. Which one did you say?Richard S. wrote:Cap wrote:Which pavilion?
Text me.
Pintoplumber, I’ll bet it was a lot of fun coming up in the '54 F100 but there must have been a point somewhere on the ride home when you said to yourself “if I had brought a newer truck I would be home by now”Richard S. wrote:Glad to meet you too Dennis, hope to see you again next year. Actually I would have loved to go on the coaster but my back was killing me. Plus it was fun to see my daughter go just with her friend. I like to see her be a little independent from old dad once in a while. I thought it took a lot of guts for a 8 and 10yr old to go alone.gaw wrote:
Keepaeyeonit, you’re a better trooper than me, I would have been pooped out after such a long day. It appeared as though you and your daughter were having fun though and you even went on the rides. Flyer5 was not able to because he “had” to take pictures.
My Grandmother on my Mother's side worked at for oil company called Mahaffey's in Swoyserville (I think), they used to have the company picnic at Hansen's. As I recall the owner would keep giving me tickets to go ride the coaster becsue they wanted to see me do it again all by myself. I was probably 5 or 6. That was first coaster I rode, probably when I was about 4 with my Dad, possibly might have been the one at Rocky Glenn.Flyer5 wrote: Actually I would have loved to go on the coaster but my back was killing me.
