Modern Glenwood 116 in the "Burts Buzz"

so I just watched the Burts Buzz , Burts Bees documentary . And in the beginning they showed his modern Glenwood 116 . That was a cool surprise !

Burt lived in Maine and passed away 2 days ago. I thought I would share and maybe some of you guys even know him ?

Not the standard trim rings on top. Looks like one from the base burner.

That last one is not a Modern Oak. Anybody know what it is?

Yes, it is a Kineo Oak, Bryant's Stove in Maine had one that I was looking at when I bought the Kineo BB, looked like the same stove. They were made there in Maine in the shadows of Mt. Kineo. I was shocked to see that burt had the fire pot completely full of ash, right up to the load door...I guess he did not have to worry about burning out the grates! toothy

Don't think that was ash, it was wadded up newspaper for the kindeling fire. :)
