Back in the day - I had the narrow hood version for snow plowing - the previous owner must have wanted more power as he moved the radiator a few inches forward and stuffed the flat head 6 cyl from a 51 Imperial behind it

That Power Wagon is from another time and place and just one of the tools that America had that backed up what America said. Times and leadership have changed dramatically.
