Read the regulations is my recommendation. Know that exemptions and exceptions must be proven by the person claiming them.

Pay no attention to the preamble, it means nothing. read the regs carefully ... go by the definitions in the regs, not common definitions.

The EPA could screw anyone over with these regs.

Whereith the EPA can screw with someone, they shall ... they got nothing better to do.... (so look at the regs from this viewpoint)

All the personal attacks? Keyboard commandos who resort to calling people names usually cannot defend their position from my experience.
Fine.

But you still haven't proven anything that you claimed about what the EPA will do with these new regs. You recommend we read, but you have not shown any proof that there's anything to read to back up your claims. You have not a direct link, or posted a quote from the EPA to back up any of your assumptions, even remotely.

However, using the only link YOU did provided, I've shown you that the EPA clearly states in it that these new regulations only pertain to all NEW wood stoves built after the "affective date", and not with any before that date.

And, there is nothing in the massive amount of info at that only link you provided, or follow-on EPA links, nor have you provided proof, that says they will show up at anyone's house to inspect either a new, or old, stove.

So, have a good night,...... and don't look under the bed or the boogeyman will get you! ;)

These regulations are ridiculous! I can't believe the communists in office passed this. Hopefully Donald Trump will be able to reverse this. :D
