Only problem I see here is that Obama chose to stay in that church.
If I was attending a church where the Minister's sermons were along the lines of what we have heard from Rev. Wright I certainly would consider leaving. It doesn't take much thought to realize what he is saying, even shrouded under the guise of a religious sermon.
The fact that Obama stayed leaves me with a lot of questions.
I agree with you John in that Obama's staying in that church left questions. I feel, however, that he answered those questions in his speech when
he denounced Rev. Wright's words but went on to explain that Rev. Wright , an ex-US Marine may I add, grew up in a much different world & that he had become a part of Obama's life. He then went on to try to explain (his Grandmother's analogy) that we all have people in our lives that we don't always agree with what they say, at any given moment, but we don't throw them away if we disagree with them.
I accept him at his word & suggest to others to do the same thing. The media just loves to keep playing Rev. Wrights inflamatory rants because it's great drama to keep you tuned into their ads.....
But they are Wright's words.......not Obama's!
