If you think there's any comparison, except in name only, between the "University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Education," and the University of Chicago School of Law, you'd be wise not to advertise it.

He was a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004, during which time he taught three courses per year. Senior Lecturers are considered to be members of the Law School faculty and are regarded as professors, although not full-time or tenure-track. The title of Senior Lecturer is distinct from the title of Lecturer, which signifies adjunct status. Like Obama, each of the Law School's Senior Lecturers has high-demand careers in politics or public service, which prevent full-time teaching. Several times during his 12 years as a professor in the Law School, Obama was invited to join the faculty in a full-time tenure-track position, but he declined

Ahhhhh...I didn't know he was a "Senior' lecturer :shh:

That now qualifies him to become president

“Barack Obama is the product of many influences, one of which is undoubtedly the many years he spent at the University of Chicago,” noted Geoffrey R. Stone, Edward H. Levi Distinguished Service Professor of Law. “As a teacher and colleague, he was always curious, probing, open-minded, and rigorous. Those are good qualities for a President, and we are very proud that he honed and reinforced them here at the University of Chicago Law School.”

Barack Obama taught at the Law School from 1992 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004. During those years, he brought a dynamic teaching presence to his courses, which included “Constitutional Law III: Equal Protection,” “Voting Rights and the Democratic Process,” and a seminar entitled “Current Issues in Racism and the Law.”

You guys may be able to convince me there is a God yet. ;)

And yet after all that lernin' stuff he believes that Judges should have "empathy" as a point of view in deciding cases.

All I can say the Duke boys sure lucked out and were redeemed before a Judge with the qualities Uncle Barry requires was on the bench. They would have hung for sure.

I guess they forgot about teaching and how Justice is supposed to be Blind
