My favorite saying concerning politicians is, "Politicians are like babies in diapers, they both need changing for the same reason. They are both full of $hit!"Devil5052 wrote:Getting to aggrivated..That's it! Really? Anybody here remember Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson right after 9/11?

Japan's geography made this invasion plan obvious to the Japanese as well, who were able to accurately deduce the Allied invasion plans and adjust their defensive plans accordingly. The Japanese planned an all-out defense of Kyūshū, with little left in reserve for any subsequent defense operations. Casualty predictions varied widely but were extremely high for both sides: depending on the degree to which Japanese civilians resisted the invasion, estimates ran into the millions for Allied casualties,[1] and tens of millions for Japanese casualties.

Here is the 9/11 sermon, where Wright's "chickens come home to roost" comment was an embellishment and paraphrasing former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Edward Peck in an interview on Fox. Wright calls 9/11 an "unthinkable" act and calls for nonviolence and an end to hatred.

Read the article and lsiten to his sermon closer. There's about 2 minutes where he is ranting where his footnote begins, obviously they are not all the words of the ambassdoor if any at all. The only other reference I can find to to those comments being attributed to Edward Peck is coincicdeatally from the same site you linked too:Here is the 9/11 sermon, where Wright's "chickens come home to roost" comment was an embellishment and paraphrasing former U.S. Ambassador to Iraq, Edward Peck in an interview on Fox. Unless someone points to another source you can assume nearly everything said in that sermon can be attributed to Rev. Wright and Rev. Wright alone.
