Vermont Castings Vigilant 2310 will handle pea fine as will Surdiac and Franco Belge. I am sure there are others as well.

I and others have had real good results with pea in the Hitzer hopper stoves. (Some say the had problems falling through grate)

I'll second that........Although nut performs nicer in the HITZER, pea does just fine.

Alsaka and DS Machine both OK the use of pea in their hand fed stoves. if your home stays warm on pea then you are all set. If you find that you need more from it than pea can deliver, then nut offers the next level of performance boost (for stoves that OK its use).

Pea coal burns quite nicely in my Harman Mark I&II. The pea coal does well during an average winter and if I need some extra heat, I mix some nut in. No problems. Lisa

I second the V.C. 2310!...and heard through the grape vine the Crane 44 has a grate for pea as well.
