Coming to Guilford October 2015. Just .2 of a mile from the Branford line on RT 1. It went up fast.

An ample supply of irritation should resolve that issue. :)

ID the store manager and offer to pay for it in advance.

I believe it has to do with pricing TSC wants it but only wants to pay a low price. So the coal supplier will only give 2 pallets a month. That is the talk on the street anyway,

that seems counter to normal vendor-buyer thinking...am I right?

What, these are like "free samples" then?

I believe it was a test on the market. The box stores like to dictate what they will pay. So if the mfg does not want to just come out and say no. They can limit the supply and see how things go.

TSC buys and ships in a large volume as a big chain. That in and of itself dictates better pricing.

The coal companies are shipping and selling almost all they can mine at a higher price. So why sell to a big box store at a much lower price. Then they would have to start lowering the quality to meet the price, which would not be good either. But if they keep the doors open by selling them a little they will have another outlet just incase there current market slows. You know what they say do not burn your bridges.

As of 9/12/15, Vernon had 8 tons nut in stock. Comes in well wrapped 1 ton pallets (not 1.2 like Blaschak), bags are tarp-like woven material bags, washed & very wet.

...soft opening is when the store is open to the public so the locals can get in first before the big free balloons and TSC hat give away...kinda' meet n' greet for the locals.
