This is probably an "unconventional" post, but I just had to write y'all and say thank you for the warm (no pun intended) and personable comments and replies that you have made so far. I've been a member of another forum (for something totally different) and the people there tend to be more "snobby" and harder to interact with. The coal forum is NOTHING like that! I am thoroughly enjoying this so far. So, a big thank you to everyone. I'll be posting pics of my new stove when I finally get it.

Stoker Coal Boiler: Gentleman Janitor GJ-5, Van Wert VA-600, Axeman Anderson130 X3.
Hand Fed Coal Furnace: Harman SF3500 reduced down to 3 grates connected to its own plenum
Coal Size/Type: Rice, Chestnut and whatever will fit through the door on the Harman
Other Heating: Noth'in but COAL! Well, Maybe a little tiny bit of wood

You are very welcome musikfan, and good luck with your new stove. I like the boiler idea better but, any stove that you AND your wife can live with is a winner.
