If you want to go to AC/DC I have one ticket available at face value, it's $132.
Wednesday Aug. 26 7:30 at Metlife Stadium in NJ. This is one of five shows in the US.
You can travel to the Wilkes Barre area and go with us or I can pick you up along the way anywhere near I-80 between Wilkes-Barre and the Stadium. You can meet us there if that's what you want to do. I can even mail the ticket to you, whatever works.

Whenever you are ready.
I was planning on leaving around noon and eating some steaks in the lot but that's not set in stone. We could leave later between 3 or 4 at the latest.
Taking my Brothers car, not that I intended too .... I'm the designated driver. You can drink like a fish if you want.

We are doing training up about an hr north in NY. So I will likely not be able to go. Do you think AC/DC would reschedule so I could go?Richard S. wrote:Whenever you are ready.

Well Dave if you want to meet us there that's always an option. My Brother or his buddy could split the ride home with you, just bring a barf bag. His buddy is liquor store clerk, he'll probably have some kind of crazy ass liquor with him. I might have 3 extra tickets by the time we get there.
This pictures is about where the seats are, little lower...

Great Day for outdoor concert, steaks on the grill and cold iced tea for me as I was the designated driver.
Little disappointed in the sound quality but I'm sure that's a nightmare for the sound engineer considering the distances. The had three banks of speakers near the rear, they must have to delay them to time them right with the ones on the stage. It was a little difficult to hear Johnson singing but overall it was really good show. Might even just been the seats we were in. Angus did what must of been a 12 or to 15 minute solo after Let There Be Rock which was the highlight of the evening. They finished off with the Highway to Hell and For those About to Rock We salute You. That was by far the loudest concert I was ever at, even Metallica didn't come close. My ears are still ringing.

Did they shoot the cannons? I saw them in the Pepsi Arena in Albany, which is a concrete hockey rink. It was so loud the place was shaking.Richard S. wrote:That was by far the loudest concert I was ever at, even Metallica didn't come close. My ears are still ringing.

Yea, it was last song and they lit off a big fireworks display. They were still playing when fireworks started, it was so loud you couldn't hear them. LOLRob R. wrote:

I'm thinking about this now and we were sitting right below a overhang, maybe that had something to do with how loud and bad it sounded.
Not talking about the band sounding bad, just the sound.

These guys aren't exactly young, Angus is 60 and Johnson is 67. Most of the people there were 40 to 50.coalnewbie wrote:Oh to be young again - you lucky guys.
I will tell you one thing, if Angus entered a marathon there is no doubt in my mind he'd finish it. He was running around that stage all night for a little over 2 hours. Near the end they were taking perhaps 30 to 60 second break between songs but that's about it.

I ended up selling that ticket for $50, was getting too late. Should have walked in a little further, there was small security gate where they were confiscating the beers and there was more people on the other side of that looking for them. Some guy offered me ten dollars for it. I was tempted to rip it up in front of him, seriously.Flyer5 wrote:Damn. I wish I could have gone. My Brother didn't take any pics accept this one when we got to the seats, just a few short vids.
Here's a video on youtube from the show (not his), was probably the best part as far as the lights went. Hear the crackling on the sound? That's the audio clipping, the amplification is exceeding the capabilities of the recording device. Not sure if phones have them built in but you need an attenuator.
