Scott, stand your stove upright! ;)

Can't wait to get it set up.

NM, wait a minute here, an EFM, Hitzer, Herald and now this one, I suspect a stove lurker that is collecting on the quiet. I suppose you need serious power up there but still. Even Rudolphs nose is LED these days so there is no help there.

Hope you don't mind but I stood your stove on its feet and lightened it a little so you can see the detail better.

I have two antique stoves, the one on the left is the one that heats my house. It is a Geneva Oak Andes, the one on the right is a Kineo baseburner.

This coming from the guy who has 2 #8's and countless others...

That is the Herald, Heralds came labeled as Heralds and also as Oakland and Fireside. If the right deal pops up I can't say I wouldn't consider another, but for now this is enough:)

Thank you sir! I am thinking about putting the Kineo baseburner on the market. If I do, I will post here on the forum first.

Rob, this shouldn't come as a surprise. The more you have, the fewer are available for him to get.

Do not sell the Kineo! It will only go up in value, and once it's gone good luck finding another like it :D

does the #15 of the Kineo I.D. represent the fire pot dia. ?

if so, isn't that thing a heat machine of serious ability ?

If you measure to the outside edge of the fire pot it is 15" but if you measure the inside of the fire brick it is 12.5" and is 12" deep. It does an awesome job of heating my 1100 sq ft. ranch style manufactured home with room to spare with heat output. I wanted to burn wood in the shoulder months and the kineo is purely a coal stove. Even the door opening is only 8" square. The Geneva Oak Andes with the return flue does not burn quite as efficient as the baseburner and it does not hold quite as much coal in the fire pot but it does give the option to burn wood in the shoulder months.
The Kineo is also a suspended firepot design so in lower burn temps, it turns everything to powdery ash.
