Last week I was roaming Ebay, and the bug bit me again.
I saw a susler Altan stove for sale.
It was for sale before, earlyer this year, and for several reasons I goodn't go for it.
But I saw it back and this time I needed it, so badly that I good not resist it.
And so I went to Germany again, and now it is in my house.

Nice looking stove. Looks like it holds quite a bit of bit... ;)

Any idea how long that stove runs between fill-ups?

Yes sir, it will burn all night even with bituminous coal, but at day it is better to feed her small portions cause it will be hotter than hell in the house.
I haven't used it yet,..... but it is the second I have.

Good find, Peter. Looks like it's in terrific shape. Congrats!

I'm so used to seeing bit stoves with secondary air feed through the bricks, that one has me wondering. How/where does the secondary air feed into firebed? Or, since they don't look used, are those not the original type bricks ?

These are the original bricks, and according the seller he used it about 10 times.
He tryed to heat his garage with it, but the stove was too small for that purpose.
And always in the way, so he used his hanging air heater again.
The secondairy air is provided thru the lid where is made a verry short pipe to heat the incoming air.

Thanks, Peter.
A rather simple system. And judging by how clean the fire bricks are, it's also a very affective system for clean burning.

@ King Coal.
I have 40 square meters to heat, the stove is rated for 5Kw wich is enough as I have experienced with -10 centigrade.
The Weso wich I have is a bit over the top with 8 Kw, basicly cuase I can't trottle it back enough.
I think it's a stove like the Godin cilinder stoves, nothing special, but it works.

@Sunny Boy.
Yes it's a simple stove, the cleanless off the brick is for the slightly use of it.
I can blacken it up a bit more but with the right settings it is to burn clean also
