Who Will Deliver a TT Load to Resident in Upstate NY?

Hey guys,
I'm new to coal - just getting a new Keystoker boiler delivered this week and installed soon, hopefully. Now I need coal...

We contacted a local company and they'll deliver a TT load of anthracite rice coal to us for $267/ton, but I have to offload the pallets myself (and provide a pallet jack!).

At 2100lbs per pallet, my 35HP Kubota won't handle it (and I don't have a pallet jack). I'm working on getting a bigger tractor, but in the meantime, I have to ask this question:

Is there any company out there that will deliver to an upstate NY residential customer and will also offload the pallets of coal?

Any information/help/advice is much appreciated!

What's the Price of 1 Ton 2014-2015

You may check this thread out and seek out folks near you. If you want an entire TT load, your options likely get larger than smaller.

For me? I looked at this before ... to join to split a TT load (as many others have w/o success).

I plan to use the entire TT load myself. It'd hopefully last me 3-4 years.

Call Eric Kirkpatrick of Coopersburg Bagging co. (610) 282-2376.

He sells Lehigh Anthracite by the bagged pallet. He can arrange an 18 pallet TT load that has an integral crane to unload the pallets at your address.

He is a great guy and a straight- shooter.

For those who may be interested, here's an update...
I spoke with the folks at Penn Keystone and Eric at Coopersburg. Both were very friendly and helpful, but Eric is capable of customizing pallet weight/height and guaranteed delivery on a flatbed instead of a van body TT, so I'm going with him. (As many of you already know, it's easier/faster to offload a flatbed.)

I spoke to Eric today and he offered me a ton of advice - everything from the size of coal to burn to how best to store the coal outside, and even had helpful advice on how to get the most "leverage" out of the loader on my tractor. Great guy!

I also solved my problem with offloading 1 ton pallets using my puny Kubota - my dairy farmer neighbor has graciously volunteered to spend an hour offloading pallets with his newest JD green machine using the new pallet fork attachment he just bought. Another great guy. I was going to have Eric ship me pallets that were 1500lbs each, but now that my neighbor said he'd help out, I'm going with the 1 ton pallets instead - 23 of them on a single load. So I'll be calling Eric in the morning and initiating the order.
