Well, according to what Richard told me, there is something in the coding of the photos that the website does not like. After I download the sideway image to my hard drive, I open it in Photoshop, turn it right side up and re-save the image. When I save that image, it must take out the offensive coding that the website does not like.

And, for anyone who doesn't have Photoshop, like me, another way that works (Microsoft Windows).

1. I just drag & drop the picture to my desk top.

2. Then I right click on the picture and chose CW or CCW to turn it right side up.

3. Then post it like a regular picture, but when clicking on the "Browse" button, chose "Desk Top" for where to get the picture from.

Somehow transferring pictures to the desk top, right click to turn them right side up, and then downloading from there, always seems to "fix" rotated pictures so that there's no problems downloading to a website.

There's no need to know how to change the picture's coding with this "drag & drop to the desk top" method.

And, it even works with others poster's rotated pix. Just right click on the picture, choose "Save Picture", and then drag and drop the picture from your pictures folder to your desk top and download from there. As I did with Auntie's picture below.

That is pretty much the same process just with a different program. One thing I think you forgot to mention is after your step #2, it is important to save the file. It is the act of saving the file that erases the coding that the website does not like.
