Well, got a ton of Kimmel's from Tractor Supply today. $289 with the $10 discount if you buy a whole ton. Seemed like they had plenty on hand. Maybe I'll grab another ton in a few weeks.

It will be nice to go open a bag in my garage rather than trudging through the snow to shovel it out of the trailer. :)

Nice - that's a damn good price for around here.

My supplier tips the scales their direction with their $70 delivery. Can't beat that with a bat. Truck has a tail-mounted Moffet, and places the pallets exactly where I want them. I just have to get out my "big stick" and hold the wire up so he can drive under it. :D Better holding a wire up for a half hour than humping 340 bags from my truck (which would require TWO trips @ well over 60 miles round-trip) to the side of the house ... and then again from there to the basement. TSC would have to sell for $100 a ton to make it worth my while. We know that ain't happenin'.

Out TSC also has the same price here on OH. I haven't gotten a ton yet but am considering it. I just need a place to store it.

I don't know, I've been paying $300 a ton, (give or take $10-20 bucks) for a few years, and when TSC was offering $239 last season, that was noticeable. (Unfortunately, I couldn't reap the benefits, cause they didn't offer "pea".) And this year, it's "still" almost $300 a ton, (even TSC) when oil is almost 1/2 price. Would be nice if the black rocks came down some too. And I thought the WV-Pa area had huge savings on coal, compared to the rest of us.

Oil is down, that's true. But it still doesn't help me. My TV is in the basement and the only heat down there is my stove.

I still need to get another Ton+ this year . I do have maybe 3/4's of a ton left . half Kimmels and half blashak . I am still going to make the trip 2 hours up to NOVA and purchase some Blashak . I haven't even checked to see if my local TSC is going to carry any this year.

A little higher over this way. The local welder has a Keystoker boiler, he said he is paying 360 per ton for bulk rice coal, and he has to travel 30 miles one way to get it.
