Are you a Democrat or Republican?

An interesting thought occurred to me when I read Devil's thread about his anthracite party, I thought it would be interesting to see if party lines follow what type of stove you have.

Seems the Republicans have a slight edge.....I like the Anthracite party, though.

:lol: Yeah, like 4:1 right now. (I had guessed about 3:1.)

But our work is not yet done here. :crutch:

Seems the Republicans prefer stokers or both whereas the Democrats use a hand fired. Going to be interesting to see if that holds up if we get a lot more votes.

Good call Dallas.
I read a poll by Readers Digest that showed more "Conservatives" actually own Hybrids, have Solar and other Alternate energy sources in use. Like they say, Don't judge a book by it's Political ideology.

Look, there ain't nothin' fancy going on here, really. Coal is much more likely to be obtained, stored and used, and ash handled and disposed, in more rural areas than in more urban areas. And we all know the associated political demographics.

What's interesting to me is the stoker v. hand-fired breakdown, which I would have expected to be otherwise among Dems. But maybe it's an indication that Dems are just starting to discover coal.

Wealthy Republicans can afford to buy expensive stokers? Democrat conspiracy to make it appear that way? Interesting results, I will share them next time I'm at Bohemian Grove.

Bump. Currently 7 Dems, 20 Repubs and 3 Indys. Not quite 3:1 between R and D.

Is everybody in?

And who says there isn't a GOP bias in the Coal Media? 8-)

Now for the "coal demographics":

"He-men": 9 (4D, 3R, 2I)

"Girlie men": 14 (2D, 11R, 1I)

"Bi-stokable" ;) : 7 (1D, 6R, 0I)

What's it mean? One thing's for certain: while Republicans greatly outnumber Democrats here, they are overwhelmingly girlie-men or bi. :D

:lol:Well, it's all in the perspective. I'll admit to being a girlie man. I prefer girls to men. As to bi,,,,, doesn't that mean two :lol: :) scott
