Heading up North this weekend to take in a foliage ride, ( Western Mass), and wanted to stop in to this Co. to see their display. Anybody around hear checked it out yet? Know anything about the owners? Are they on this site?

That should be a nice place to visit, on their web site and videos they show some very beautiful stoves.
But buying one is an other thing.

...he's definitely on this site. toothy

...oh and another thing, I think a credit report is needed to get in the door. :P

ok enough sillyness, I understand he's a broker so many stoves in the store might be owned by another party and he tacked on a few grand for floor space...kinda' like a car dealership ;)

M.A.

I didn't know Good Time Stoves had a presence here. What is their "user name"?

They have some nice looking stoves that is for sure but you do need an American Express Black Card to buy one.

Lightning posted a thread questioning this guy's video of a double heater or base burner, I merely posted a link to the thread.
Further down in the thread it is stated:
"If'n he wouldn't of gotten himself banned from here, he coulda understood this stuff himself, and not looked really misinformed in his video."

Weather true or not he is here vicariously. ;)

By all means check it out joeq, and take some pic's for us to drool over. A nice ride in the Berkshires is worth it.

Sure I will Josh. My main reason for heading that way, was to check out the leaves. But if I have a chance to enjoy viewing some antique stoves, why not? I don't always have the opportunity to see a restored Jewel up close.

Those stoves are nice and the price isn't horrible. Cooking in them must be a pain....

So today was the day, and I can honestly say, it was an enjoyable trip. Even the couple that came with me really liked the place. I got to talk to the owner Richard, and he was very personable. His daughter wasn't there, and was the one I had been conversing with over the visit. Other visitors were also there along with us. Unfortunately their hours aren't very convenient, cause they close shop at 2PM, and it was 1:30 when we arrived. Altho we weren't rushed, I felt I didn't want to over stay our welcome, so we didn't spend as much time as we would've liked. And there is "so" much to see, inside "and" outside. I must've shot almost 30 pictures, and finally forced myself to shut my camera off, B4 I killed the batteries. Here is some pix of the inside, and there're so many different stoves, I can't even remember what they were.

But it was the outside, that really catches the eye. Some of these photos aren't for the faint of heart. But if you like this style, it really shouldn't go unnoticed. There are many years of collecting s and structures, that are just "everywhere". I can't even explain it. here's a taste.

And that folks, is just the tip of the ice berg. My buddy and his wife says we need to go back there, in the nice weather, when the place is in full bloom. So that was my take on the Good Times Co. We didn't talk too much about the details of all the stoves, just kind've general conversation. I "will" go back again, to try and see things a little better. He only had one stove burning wood to keep the bite out of the air, and said he wasn't a fan of coal burning. But he did have a few stoves that I liked.
Hopefully you guys enjoy the pix.
