Just beautiful. Presumably all taken with a drone. Surprised at the opulence of the homes, no fisherman's shacks. Liked all those topless young women on the beaches.

With 64* seawater temperatures Maine gives rise to another great event in the bird watching calender, the sighting of the first Blue Tit of the season.

Beautiful shots of the shipyahd down in Kittery. I was there from Apr 06 to Aug 07, and the summer of 06 was probably the best time I spent in the Navy.

Fisherman can't afford to live there anymore. I try to avoid the coast at all cost. It doesn't feel like Maine to me. There's a terrible air of pretentiousness floating on the scent of the sea.

Pretentiousness or not, one of the barn girls grew up in New Harbor and came home with 5 lobsters for us still alive and that is Maine to me. I could not afford one of those coastal homes anyway. That was my culinary treat for the year. The video was an eye opener for me and that is why I posted it. It's to large in scope to be a drone and so who would spend the money to produce this from an aircraft of some sort. I think I will relax and watch it again, let me put the coffee on.

The first good view of the shadow helicopter that is being used in the filming can be seen at 3:31 in the field between the pond and the white building. There is an earlier view of the helicopter shadow at 3:21 in the trees, but it's much harder to see.

Nice video.

Don't forget about the Somali Refugees (read that Muslims)that have inundated Lewiston and are now migrating to Portland with new laws that require the state to pick up the welfare. Was really looking for the last two year in that area.....my lady Realtor up there was pretty mum about the issues and won't/can't offer what is going on. When confronted with the awareness she just didn't say anything...but then who can trust a realtor, eh ?

Oh, nice video..

I hear yah Ugsq, I lived in Portland for 5 yrs, when we were looking for a house up here my realtor told me the paper mill would hire me, her husband worked there. She never said there was a few hundred guys already laid off waiting for a call back. The mill shut down 2 weeks after we bought the house and never ran again...been torn down since. No worries though I've found work and have been working here 7 yrs.

just head north, no hand outs like in Portland and Lewiston-Auburn, granted there are some folks looking for one but they don't last very long.
