Crane Coal Cooker Does Just That!!

Crane Coal Cooker Does Just That!!

PostBy: stovepipemike On: Mon Nov 09, 2015 5:16 pm

Since it was possibly the last nice day for a while I thought I would take out a few of them and get them some exercise. This is the last time the Crane will see heat before the refractory comes out and is replaced with new. I will try to document that with pictures when it happens. We had a pot of chili, Ein Topf Goulash, carrots roasted in the little oven on the Jotul, and bean soup. I was told that if I go too much further, a man with a white coat and a net will be around to collect me. I just smiled and stirred the pots. :D Mike

The Crane and the Stamford caboose stove are the only ones that can burn the coal. The Cawley-Lemay and the little Jotul with the oven can only take wood. Mike

That's genius!! Why are we so hung up on heating the indoors??!!
If we heated the outdoors, we could have summer all year long!!

You are definitely unhinged, beaten up old junk everywhere, I thoroughly approve. Reminds me of Wilsons place my favorite place in the world. How about adding an 88 to the line up.
