I'm at a customers house today and I look over and what do I see but Glenwood modern oak.... so I get talking drives with the 80 year old lady. "Yep ill part with it" she says "a friend of mine saw one sell at a auction for $4000.00 a few years ago and she said mine is way nicer.." so I say what do you want for it? She says $4000.00.... ugh its nice but not that nice..

Yup, a nice 116.

But, you can get a freshly restored one for about half that price.

Yeah, I didn't even waste my breath, same thing happened to my grand mother, my grandfather had a 1st year Gibson sg, he died and someone told her it was worth 10k and by god that's what she's gonna get for it...
