What really hurts is that on the Channel 8 10 pm news, the new weatherman looks like Malloy's brother. I'm forced to watch this.

Party Foul every night.

WERE DO I BEGIN............ :D

Malloy and his communist monkeys stripped me of my second amendment rights!

Taxes are amoung the highest in the nation!

Town taxes are horibal $5000 a year for a 2000sq house and .5 acer!

Roads and bridges are shot!

DOT is a bunch of over paid whinny union bitches that love coating our roads in calcium chloride and other acidic chemicals intern rots our cars and trucks out in no time!

Ethanol fuel!

Coal averages 300$ a ton!

Malloy wants to bring in Syrian and Isis refugees and give them free benefits that all the other immigrants get while the middle class works harder to pay for them!

Cost of living is high!

Every time you visit the dmv not only dose it take 3 hours your not getting nothing done without forking over at least $500!

Hum that's off the top of my head..........................

OH YA AND THE DUCK AND GOOSE HUNTING IS NOTHING TO BRAG ABOUT, any hunting for that matter way to small of a state with not enough public land AND ecosystem to support!

When we were looking to move the family and business away from Long Island's high taxes, because of family and friends in the Hebron area, we looked at many places in the eastern half of Conn. Made my taxes look not so bad.

And that was 30 years ago. I'd hate to see what the places I looked at are being taxed at now.

See this?

Rose said McMahon was initially emphatic that he had not consumed alcohol, but later "feigned memory loss" when he told an investigator that he did not remember what he drank.

Can't disagree with most of your other complaints but don't these 3 apply to every New England state? You'd prefer to drive on ice?

Local property taxes are brutal in my town yet almost every house sold around me in recent years was bought by someone escaping R.I. No idea what the taxes are like over there but they must be really bad if they make this area look appealing.

You too?! My new neighbor is from Coventry. We are "lucky" in Plainfield, the taxes aren't anything like Ledyard or Groton, much less Norwich. I wish I could have found a nice house in Lisbon though...

What drove him out of Coventry? I used to live just over the border in Phenix.
