Just want to post some pics of my restoration and give thanks to all for the info I have got from this form. Been reading here for years. The stove has been in family since new, I'm third gen. My father shot holes in it when he was 11, he said it was junk, lucky it was only the barrel. Dad and I have been working on it for 3 months. Complete teardown, blast, repair, new beadjacket, plastic refractory lining and chrome. Grate is not original.

More pics, and thanks to Emery Pineo at the antique stove hospital for taking time to talk me into fixing it right, lots of good tips.

10 pounds of charcoal in it, just waiting to get home, out for turkey day, got my drink cold, 3 tons of Kimmel's in basement, ready for all nighter, windows open, the smell of fresh curing paint, its like Christmas early, wife and kids out shopping, life is good.

Very nice job on the restoration! Does that stove have a double heater feature? The shroud on the back of the stove looks similar to my Andes'. Made to send heat to an upstairs register.

I was curious about that too Randy. Looks to be a double heater to me. Can't wait to see the "blues". Nice stove. :D
