Uses half the coal and wood my hot blast does. House is clean and smells great. Problem solved

Choice ... tilt my head to look at a big pic or look at the tiny upright pic.,i chose the tilt. Do you have to split your coal ? toothy or can you throw those whopper chunks right in? :notsure:

Usually they are short stubs from the factory.

The stove only has like 4 inches of chimney. It's a forced air blower stove so it doesn't need a chimney but the chimney is so short because it has three bypasses from front to back before the smoke leaves the stove, resulting in the exhaust being so cold by the time it leaves the stove that a longer chimney would condensate and run water back down In the stove. I wise guy told me once on this forum that when your burning bituminous coal bigger the better. As long as you can get it In the door it's good.

You forgot to put your location into your profile, then all we would do is to look to the right to tell which part of the country you are in.Bituminous coal ?I would then assume that you are not in the North East.

Could be my location is not on there on purpose. Not cause I forgot. And all stoves ranges from $5500 to $20000. Mine was 7000
