Gab,
Just so you know, that's not a potbelly stove. Technically, it's called a cylinder stove because of the cylindrical barrel body. One of the many types generally referred to as parlor stoves.

The barrel on real potbelly stoves curve outward, just like the name implies.

Paul.

Sorry Paul, referred to it as such from viewing others online.
So now I have a parlor stove for sale.
Honest mistake,
Gabe

Gabe,
It's ok, even the most knowledgeable of us were not born knowing this stuff. :D

Parlor stoves are a step up from potbelly stoves and as such tend get a bit better price. I'd hate to see you sell it at just potbelly prices. ;)

Good luck with the sale.

Paul

Taking up.

Also, am I looking at it wrong, or is it "another" double heater? It appears to not only have the pipe sticking out of the back of the barrel, but is there another outlet on the top, behind the bonnet? It looks to be cut out in the back top for something.

took the words right outa my mouth... call it a Parlor Stove if you wish.

its an Oak, just not a double heater type... more importantly it needs some serious help, your going to be hard pressed to achieve $600 for it (my best guess... $200 - $300), most the people here know stoves way to well to even come close to that price... but I am pulling for you and wish you well on it! ebay maybe someone might want it for ornamentation of some sort if you can find someone local to you.
