More than that number is needed. Supply the craigslist link (if the seller hasn't removed it) or take pictures of it yourself and post them.

I have had a wagner and have an efm. They are almost identical, but my wagner had an ash scraper for the pot, that turned as the worm drove. If yours has the scraper,it is all wagner,

Scrapper or Matt D may be able to help you. I do not know the model number of that stoker but there are a few around, my mother has one in a Loline boiler. A picture may help and the size of the pipes may give a bit of a clue.

If I recall correctly the EFM 700 had an ash scraper too.

The above posters don't seem to have looked at the pics in the CL ad. The nameplate says it's an S-20 stoker, as used in a 520. The S-30 stoker used in a 700 has a full rotating pot. This certainly looks like a Wagner; AFAIK Lolines were made by Wagner. Wagner also made one 24" wide; not sure about the stock stoker size on either one.

I know I did not look at the non-existent CL link.

Thank you all on this christmas eve eve.

Mike I appreciate your response after our little "tiff" in a previous topic, thank you.

My understanding from the previous owner who never had it hooked up and got it from somebody else is that this EFM stoker did not belong to this particular boiler.

When I look at the separation plate in the center it seems to be not original. A couple of pictures on the forum showed a wagner with the fan / motor below the flue / second heat exchanger clean out and the ash pan in the slab below the base. I would not be surprised if this separation plate was a modification.

The images in the cl listing show three welded stubs in each side . Much fewer then the EFM DF 520 I have.
There are two triangular water channels above the stoker and total 5 water baffles in the flue path. The whole base might be a DIY job. The clean out panels have a strange pattern , may be reused from another machine?
The size of the boiler section itself is 45-1/2 long x 22 wide and 23-1/2 high.
It is still in my Van and hard to take more pictures.

Ok, since this is your boiler, I'm going to post these pics for you just in case the craigslist ads disappear. Contact me within 24 hours and I can delete them if you want, or contact any moderator after the 24 hours if you want them taken down.

Your welcome.

Posting pictures is easy. Just hit the 'post reply' button, then scroll down a little and you will see 'upload attachment'. Click that, then click the 'browse' button. Find your picture in the next box that pops up (I put them on the desktop cause it's easier), click open, then your file name will be beside the 'browse' button. Click 'add the file', then click the 'submit' button.

ok, can't make more pictures right now. I will have to get the boiler out of the van. That means I have to first clean up the shop. It has a huge domestic water coil.
Anyhow. I have some pressure testing to do before I take my modified Energy King wood / coal of line. I hope it is Ok I like these additional cleanouts.

JB,

No worries. It would be pretty boring if we all had the same perspectives on things.

I have 2 boilers like that (one 22" wide and one 24" wide). The separation plate was probably changed on yours because the EFM stoker doesn't need the holes in the original plate. Otherwise, the base looks like an original.
