I have never considered myself a writer but tonight I felt compelled to put my thoughts down on paper. I just finished filling the coal stove full of nut coal and I lit the oil lamps. I was sitting in my new rocking chair..a Christmas gift to myself, and watching the those blue dancing flames. The Christmas tree was lighted and looking so beautiful tonight. Christmas music was wafting in the background and a glass of Glenlivit was in my hand. I watched the dancing blue flames and it drew me into many thoughts that happened throughout this year. Many good thoughts but some that made me question where we are going as a Nation. I just wanted to wish my whole family on NEPACROSSROADS a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.

Randy

You've painted a Picture with Your typed words ! I like Your Scenario........Just something You can't buy...... See if You can ponder Your year to come and steer it the best You can. No one really wants to listen to alot of warning signs that We're in Rotten Trouble as a People and a Nation. Take the best care of You and Yours as You can. They're worth it..... At Christmas,We always try to make things right, even if it's just for a day. Come the 26th,We can start sweatin' about why it looks like it's getting ready to start raining bricks.....

For today,Randy,make it right,make it a Merry Christmas,Randy !

Sept.11,1973 ,my father died in a farm accident, when Christmas came that yr.,many churches, neighbors & other folks blessed us with so much food, clothing & other gifts.Today I sit here wearing a Yorke flannel shirt that was given to me that 1973 Christmas,i have worn it every Christmas since that yr.I never wore this shirt as a work shirt ,but as it is a dressier shirt I wore it many times thru the yrs to go visit family ,etc.I have worn it more than just for Christmas, but the last few yrs I wear it only on Christmas day.I want the shirt to last for my lifetime,in memory of my father who I only had for the first 16 yrs of my life. This shirt is a testament to the good time in our country when shirts were made in the USA & were top quality too.May each of you find or make a Christmas memory on this very special day when we celebrate the day that Jesus was born.. MERRY CHRISTMAS ,have a very happy day. :D
