You don't need much room to open a can of beans.

exactly Franco  ... wtf do I need right? I do miss my coal stoves but Im just going to live vicariously through you guys for a while

Ohhh... I should mention that I am so impressed with that dishwasher (heat duct runs under it so was forced to a dish drawer), and the washer/dryer is one of those European jobbies (genius those brits are!)... after trying the non-vented versions with disappointment I finally found this lil beauty (full vent option!)... I press one button and my cloths almost come out folded! and I custom built it into the gosh darn wall LOL... I am going to make a bachelor pad for the ages!

Looks Great Doug! Is that center burner on the stovetop a griddle burner?

6 doorways?!!? Must have been fun painting all that trimwork! I like that style faucet riser. What type of flooring is that?

Is this part of the Small House Movement?

I have nothing against the movement per se, I started out at age 20 getting wed and needing a place for my bride so we started out in a less than 500 square foot home. It really was a 2 car garage (1 story), but we quickly wanted more room. I see some shows on television and their ideas were sound, but in my experience in quick order you want more room. I would encourage others to start out with a small house, but I would play well in advance for additions. Done right they can be architecturally pleasing without looking like they are house warts.
