No surprise here except it happened 1 game shy at the end of the season.

PHILADELPHIA -- The Chip Kelly revolution ended before it ever really began.

The Philadelphia Eagles abruptly fired Kelly on Tuesday night, five days before the final game of the 2015 regular season. Kelly's Eagles were eliminated from playoff contention when they lost to the Washington Redskins on Saturday night.

They'll blame it on the fog.

I'm not surprised but I figured he would get one more year. With the drastic changes he made you are essentially in a rebuilding year. It may have worked out in the end once they became a cohesive unit but not a a very good idea for the short term.

The one good thing here is we can look forward to new couch, my vote is for Gruden or Cowher.
