I have had my keystoker for about a year. Today when calling for heat in never starts the pusher motor.

Check the wiring, etc.. take the cover off the box on the stove and make sure the connections are all tight for the thermostat.
Assuming you do the spring cleaning and maintenance on it, clean it good, etc...give us a few more details or post a pic of your setup.
what type of thermostat? If it's digital, you might need new batteries.
turning it up or down you don't here a click on the stove to activate the stoker?
Unplug it and plug it back in, see if it resets, etc....

We can guess all day...does the feeder motor get hot to the touch like it is bound up?Cookingarcher wrote:I have had my keystoker for about a year. Today when calling for heat in never starts the pusher motor.
Gears can get jambed or bound up and stop motor rotation. Faulty wiring might leave it cold to the touch...which is your's?.

I have replaced the battery. Checked all electrical connections. The propeller is running on the gear motor only when the timer is making it run.

Okay, t'stat has new battery and motor run happily off timer...now we're making headway.Cookingarcher wrote:I have replaced the battery. Checked all electrical connections. The propeller is running on the gear motor only when the timer is making it run.
If t'stat truly is closed your controller is ka-put. Try shorting out the TT terminals on the controller with the t'stat wires removed. If that works throw that t'stat away and get another. If it don't work find a new controller part.

If it's idling from the timer box and will maintain a fire at idle, then the stoker motor seems to be working.
it could be electrical with the transformer in the box on the back of the stove or thermostat. make sure if you remove the front of the thermostat for changing the batteries, it was put back on and making good contact. sometimes they have to snap back onto the mounting bracket.
