I've finally closed on a house and moved. Last thing is to sell the last stove. Had 3 and 2 are sold. I bought the Crawford 40 from Emery at Stove Hospital last year and it worked great. Now that I'm moved I don't need it. I will sell at a fair price but won't give it away. This is a great stove. PM me for details and price.

Hi B,
good to hear from you buddy.
i wondered how it had turned out on the plans / move etc.
for those who weren't in on B's stove adventures let me say that he lived in the first county across the stateline into Michigan north of me and I had 3 occasions to be invited up to meet his family and see the stoves.
it's a NEPA forum meeting i'll always remember.
concerning these stove and specifically the one still for sale, I can't articulate how exacting and particular this guy was with them. this stove is TOP NOTCH and was operated by a family that really cared for and about them.
i can't imagine there being a single disappointment to found on it and an honest agreement toward it's purchase will surely not be regretted.
B, you got any coal you need to sell off ?
steve

You could have twins Scott, like me. When I saw that photo above of the 40, the view reminds me of Lou Farigno, (the hulk). The pose with his clenched fists down by his waist, neck muscles popping out, and gritting his teeth.

Had a deal on this stove and it fell through as buyer wasn't able to come get the stove. I realized that I hadn't listed a price on the stove in the ad and then I got a PM and thought it was sold. I'm asking $2,000.00 for this stove. It was used for a season after it was completely restored by the Stove Hospital. I'll see if I get any takers here before it goes up on craigslist or ebay. I really want this to go to a coal burner not an antique collector. Let me know as I'll give it about a week.

It appears to be missing legs,so I question the "full restoration"

If you had read the first post in this thread you would see the stove came from The Stove Hospital and was used last season. BPatrick and Emery from The Stove Hospital are 2 upstanding members here. BPatrick is in the process of relocating. I'm sure the stove was being moved when the picture was taken or when first restored and the base is close by.fifthg wrote:It appears to be missing legs,so I question the "full restoration"
