I enjoyed the video very much. Pretty country out there. If you were hauling a load of sap or Canadian whiskey I might mistake it for Vermont. :)

Glad you're ok. I enjoyed the trip over to get my coal from you and my friend that likes to fish had fun too. He'd sure like to come try out your little stream. I finally burned the last of the Blaschak about a week ago. Hope you're making progress on that fine old baseburner you showed me. Jerry

Cannot beat that view over the ears of a good horse. One of the things I had to give up when I bought the stove business. I still have one horse (pony) left that is my daughters but my horse passed a few years now. Hard to find a horse that you just bond with. Belgians are awesome BTW. Thanks for sharing that.

Hi Guys: Busy this summer and fall with a remodel of a 1896 Granary on my farm. Throw in a few Flooring Jobs & it's been work and sleep for months now. My health is good - but at my age (69) bed time comes early.

Just fired up a Warmmorning 520 in the Granary, plan on starting back on the interior next week full time. Want to complete so I can use it as a rental unit May first.

Sorry about my absince on the forum, only just so much time ina day.

Will try and load a few photos so you can see what I've been doing.

BTW: The chimney is 34 feet clay tile linned - Will upload photos of the build this weekend.

Regards and best wishes to everyone. john

Thats about the same or similar view from most the farms in extreme SE MN (it goes about 50-60 miles west from the Mississippi river) or NE IA and actually the whole far eastern IA. It gets steeper and hillier the closer you get to the Mississippi River. Very pretty to say the least. A nice mix of farmland and woods and not overpopulated.

I went to his home and bought some coal from him last year. He never mentioned being unhappy with the forum but he has a lot of activities that keep him busy. He has a lot of Amish friends and they like to make sausages and other meats, ride horses, and I know he likes to go to Chicago sometimes and goes dancing, so he has been living a good life, as far as I can tell. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with him. Jerry
