Thta has always stuck in my mind as fishy, not a peep from the Syrians... something was up.

Not just from the Syrians, but Iran, Jordan, Turkey, SA, Egypt, etc. were all basically silent on it. Only country to say much of anything about it at the time was North Korea. And they stopped very shortly too. There was certainly something going on there. And enough people knew about it (and knew it was serious enough) to keep their mouths shut despite that fact that it was Israel doing the bombing. I'm surprised the details of what was going on there haven't been leaked and admitted to yet.

One of our Lt's is a crew chief on a gun ship, he brought back pictures he took of a pile of sarin nerve gas cylinders, wonder why we never saw them on the news?

They knew we were coming 3 months before our arrival, plenty of time to move or hide anything. The sarin was located out in the middle of no where.
