So Fred, just how high is that mountain you're living on top of? Do you need oxygen up there, or what?

Here in CNY, ya don't have to be on a hill, either. We're 1000 feet here in the valley and were 30-32F the past few mornings.

Since it's also saving me expensive pro-pain for the kitchen stove, I'm in no hurry to shut down the coal range. Nice to have the warmth and not hear the furnace running. ;)

The weeks B4 this past week, our temps were always 50°, whether it was day or night. But in the days it was cloudy damp and seemed cooler than it was. Once my girls were huddled around the 111, pretending to get warmer. (it's out). This week we finally have sun and 70s, so that closes the deal for me. But I was close to relighting a couple times a few weeks ago. Enjoy your heat people.
