I didn't want to drive that far but the almost $700.00 to crate and ship it was the deciding factor plus I wanted to see the shop and all the old stoves waiting for good homes! I would do it again in a heart beat

Thanks for all the kind words guys, It will be a few weeks before I get it in position, as much as I look forward to camping all summer I can't wait until fall to roll back around :roll2:.

I feel so inadequate now. :(

Maybe if I do a Kingcoal base heater conversion on one of my 118's, I can hang with the cool kids. ? 18 inch firepots,... the new normal. :D

Hell I wish I could do It with a 16" pot I would have had one along time ago but having a wife that likes at least 76° I didn't want to chance It plus I don't want to beat the poor stove to death trying. Don't feel that your small size is inadequate  , as long as your fofilling all your needs thats all that matters :dancing:

I didn't look that close at them but I know he has a Glenwood #50 and a Andes 620 that need to be restored oak stoves but 20" pots.
Does anyone know what years the #6 and #8 were manufactured? I did a search but I didn't see anything I'm sure its there somewhere.

I was going to drive down Route 80 anyway, I want it too. Perhaps we need to corner the market, of course my collection of cabbage patch dolls did not turn out so well.

The Glenwood Modern Series came out in 1905. The last ones were made in the very early '30's.
