coal gun

I`m new to the forum and know nothing about burning coal except the memories of the giant spider like furnace that lingered in my grandfather`s basement.

I have been looking at the different brands of coal stokers, What is the general consensus on the coal gun?

Virtually all available coal boilers are very good.. I use an AA260, a very old one I completely rebuilt.. it does a very good job.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the currently available boilers.. or even with a used boiler, providing you are handy and can rebuild and repair.
